Chai Spiced Overnight Oats

A classic healthy breakfast option with a delicious chai twist! This recipe is easy to prep ahead, store in the fridge, then grab and go in the morning.

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 tsp chai spice see notes
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup or other liquid sweetener
  • optional toppings: nut butter, granola, sliced banana, apple, or pear.


  • In a large mixing bowl whisk together oats, chia seeds and chai spice.
  • Add the plain greek yogurt, your milk of choice, and maple syrup. Mix well to combine.
  • Divide mixture between 3 airtight containers or mason jars. Store in the fridge overnight.
  • In the morning, remove from fridge, add toppings and enjoy!


Chai spice: combine 1 tbsp ground cinnamon, 1 tsp ground cardamom, 2 tsp ground ginger, 1 tsp allspice, and 1/2 tsp ground cloves. Store in an airtight jar and use in things like oats, lattes, baked goods and more!
