Ingredients: – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted – 1 cup sugar – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 3 large eggs – 1/2 cup all-purpose flour – 1 tsp baking powder – 1/2 cup cocoa powder, sifted – 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips – 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional
– Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350F. – In a mixing bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract together. Add the eggs and mix until well-combnined. – Add the all-purpose flour, baking powder and cocoa powder then mix until just combined. – Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped walnuts (optional). – Transfer the the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool and cut into squares, then serve.
