Did you know? While it cooks like a whole grain, quinoa is actually a seed! Nonetheless, quinoa is healthy, high-fibre food and a complete protein source. This means that it provides us with all of the essential amino acids (the ones the body can’t make on its own).
I love using quinoa in a variety of recipes. You can even use puffed quinoa in desserts, like cookies!
