Chicken is one of my favourite animal-based protein sources. It’s a lean protein (meaning it’s low in saturated fat), and it’s a source of other important nutrients like iron, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, and zinc.

Incorporating quality protein sources into our meals is important for maintaining general health and wellbeing, but it’s also important for feeling full and satisfied after eating. I use chicken in a variety of main dish and appetizer recipes.
