Naan Bread Pizzas 3 Ways
When I think about what I want in a weeknight meal, the words easy, nourishing, and of course, tasty come to mind. Typically, easy being highest up on the priority list.
What if I told you I’ve made homemade pizza easy, nourishing and tasty? I hope you’d believe me… because it’s true! Today I’m presenting to you 3 easy Naan Bread Pizza ideas that you can enjoy individually or share with the whole family. The best part? They come together less than 20 minutes.

These pizza combos have something for everyone – like the plant-based veggie-lover, the meat-eater, and the one who likes pineapple on pizza. Lol! Feel free to customize them to your own preferences, but I have to say they’re pretty dang delicious as they are.
If you’re leaning towards simplicity and ease, I recommend having pre-made pesto, canned pizza sauce, and canned pineapple chunks on hand. If you’re feeling ambitious, you can totally make your own sauces or use fresh pineapple. I’ll leave that up to you.
Pair these pizzas with a side salad for a well-rounded meal and bonus nutritional boost. I think they would be great with a garden or caesar salad. Or you could even just toss some mixed greens with olive oil and balsamic vinegar because once again, we’re all about delicious simplicity over here.

Veggie, Pesto & Feta Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 slice whole wheat naan bread
- 1-2 tbsp basil pesto, homemade or store-bought
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
- 1-2 tbsp diced red onion
- 1/4 cup broccoli florets, chopped into small pieces
- 3 each sliced grape tomatoes
- 2 tbsp crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tsp melted butter, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F. Spread naan bread slice with basil pesto sauce. Add peppers, onion, broccoli and tomatoes and sprinkle feta on top. Optional: Brush outside of the naan crust with melted butter (this well help the crust get nice and brown/crispy).
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until crust is browned and cheese begins to melt. Remove from oven, cut and serve.
Simple Proscuitto & Arugula Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 slice whole wheat naan bread
- 2 tbsp pizza sauce, canned or homemade
- 2-3 slices prosciutto
- 3 tbsp mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 large handful fresh arugula
- 1 tsp melted butter, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F. Spread the naan bread with pizza sauce and top with prosciutto and mozzarella. Optional: brush naan bread crust with melted butter (this will help make it brown/crispy).
- Bake naan pizza for 5-7 minutes until golden an cheese is melted. Top with arugula and serve immediately.
Hawaiian BBQ Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 slice whole wheat naan bread
- 1-2 tbsp BBQ sauce, of choice
- 1/4 cup canned pineapple chunks, drained
- 2 tbsp diced red onion
- 3 tbsp mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp melted butter, optional
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F. Spread naan bread with BBQ sauce and then top with pineapple, onion, and cheese. Optional: Brush naan crust with melted butter (this will help brown the crust and make it crispy).
- Bake for 5-7 minutes, until crust is browned and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and serve immediately.
