Vegan Chocolate Fudge with Peppermint
This Vegan Chocolate Fudge with Peppermint is a perfect holiday treat! It’s made with a handful of simple ingredients and is a source of healthy fats. Vegan and gluten-free.

If you love chocolate, you’re going to love this vegan chocolate fudge! I added peppermint for a little holiday flare, but feel free to omit this if you just want good old vegan chocolate fudge. It’s “freezer” fudge because it forms it’s solid, fudge-like consistency when placed in the freezer!
This recipe is a great healthy holiday treat to have in your freezer when that sweet tooth strikes. It’s also great to keep around and put out for guests to enjoy during the Christmas season.
It’s smooth, rich and creamy like traditional fudge. However, it’s made with good-for-you ingredients like almond butter.
Vegan Chocolate Fudge Ingredients:
Almond Butter but you could try another nut or seed butter if you like.
Cocoa Powder – the unsweetened variety.
Pure Maple Syrup for sweetness.
Coconut oil adds plant-based creaminess and decadence.
Peppermint Extract for that refreshing, peppermint flavour. (Optional)
Candy Canes crushed on top, of course! (Optional)
How to Make Vegan Chocolate Freezer Fudge:
It’s really easy! All you have to do is combine the ingredients (minus the crushed candy canes) in a mixing bowl. Then, pour the mixture into a pan. I like using a loaf pan or rectangular glass Tupperware container.
Crush up some candy canes and sprinkle them on top. Then, place the pan in the freezer to let the fudge set. I like to leave it for at least an hour, but if you’re really hungry you could take it out after 15-20 minutes!
Cut the fudge into little squares, serve and enjoy!
