If you love the taste of peppermint and chocolate together, you’re going to love this Healthy Chocolate Peppermint Fudge. It’s “freezer” fudge because it forms it’s solid, fudge-like consistency when placed in the freezer!

This recipe is a great healthy holiday treat to have in your freezer when that sweet tooth strikes. It’s also great to keep around and put out for guests to enjoy during the Christmas season.

It’s smooth, rich and creamy like traditional fudge. However, it’s made with better-for-you ingredients like almond butter.

Healthy Chocolate Peppermint Fudge Ingredients:

Almond Butter but you could try another nut or seed butter if you like.

Cocoa Powder – the unsweetened variety.

Peppermint Extract for that refreshing, peppermint flavour.

Pure Maple Syrup for sweetness.

Coconut oil adds plant-based creaminess and decadence.

Candy Canes crushed on top, of course!

How to Make Freezer Fudge:

It’s really easy! All you have to do is combine the ingredients (minus the crushed candy canes) in a mixing bowl. Then, pour the mixture into a pan. I like using a loaf pan or rectangular glass Tupperware container.

Crush up some candy canes and sprinkle them on top. Then, place the pan in the freezer to let the fudge set. I like to leave it for at least an hour, but if you’re really hungry you could take it out after 15-20 minutes!

Cut the fudge into little squares, serve and enjoy!
