To make the chicken burgers, you’ll need:

  • 1 lb. lean ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • large pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 ounces feta cheese

To make the aioli, you’ll need:

  • 2 tbsp greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

How to Make the Burgers:

Mix the ground chicken together in a large bowl with the oats, egg, grated onion, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, spices, and feta. With clean hands, mix all of the ingredients together until well-combined.

While the burgers are cooking, you can make the Feta Aioli by whisking the greek yogurt, mayo, feta cheese, garlic, lemon juice and black pepper together in a mixing bowl until well-combined.

What to Serve with these Greek Chicken Burgers:

I recommend serving each burger on a nice bun with lettuce, sliced tomato, red onion, cucumber and feta aioli or homemade tzatziki.

Alternatively, you can eat the burgers on a lettuce wrap instead of a bun, or crumble on top of a salad or nourish bowl.

Yes! You can store the greek chicken burgers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days. Or you can store them in the freezer for up to 3 months. Then defrost, reheat, and enjoy when you’re ready to eat them.
*Grilling Instructions:
Make sure the BBQ/grill grates well-oiled. Grill the burgers, covered, over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 165F. If you find the burger patties are too moist to grill right on the grates, grill on a greased sheet of foil instead.
