If you don’t know by now, I love anything Greek-inspired. The flavours, vibrant colours, and incorporation of fresh ingredients like herbs, vegetables and fruits is so delicious to me.

This recipe for Greek Chicken Burgers was actually inspired by by Greek Chicken Meatballs recipe. I wanted a juicy chicken burger recipe for the summer, so I took my meatball recipe, made a few adaptations, and these juicy and delicious Greek Chicken Burgers were born.

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • large pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 ounces feta cheese

To make the aioli, you’ll need:

  • 2 tbsp greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Yes! You can store the greek chicken burgers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days. Or you can store them in the freezer for up to 3 months. Then defrost, reheat, and enjoy when you’re ready to eat them.
*Grilling Instructions:
Make sure the BBQ/grill grates well-oiled. Grill the burgers, covered, over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 165F. If you find the burger patties are too moist to grill right on the grates, grill on a greased sheet of foil instead.
