3-Minute Sriracha Mayo with Greek Yogurt
In under 5 minutes you can make this creamy and versatile sriracha mayo. Sriracha, lime juice, and a hint of sweetener combine with mayonnaise AND Greek yogurt, so it’s lower in fat and higher in protein than traditional recipes, but tastes just as good (if not better)! Use it as a dip for roasted potatoes and homemade fries, or to add a tasty kick to tacos, fajitas, and more!

If there’s one thing that will level up your home cooking, it’s a roster of delicious homemade sauces and dressings!
In addition to my Extra-Creamy Homemade Tzatziki and my 10-Minute Healthy Caesar Dressing, this is definitely one you’ll want to add to your list.
This sriracha mayo recipe:
- takes 3 minutes to make
- requires only 5 ingredients
- uses Greek yogurt for less fat and more protein
- adds a creamy and flavourful kick to whatever you serve it with!
Is This Spicy Mayo Healthy?
As a Registered Dietitian, I’m always looking for ways to sneak a little bit more nutrition into my recipes.
By using nutrient-rich Greek yogurt, we reduce the total calorie and fat content of the sauce, while increasing the protein and the amount of micronutrients, like calcium and phosphorus.
If you prefer, you can make this recipe entirely with Greek yogurt. I like to use a little bit of mayo for that creamy texture. But if you want to, you can just swap the 1/4 cup of mayonnaise with another 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt.
You can also make it entirely with mayo by subbing the Greek yogurt for an additional 1/4 cup fo mayo.
Sriracha Mayo Ingredients:
Gather your ingredients! All you will need to make homemade sriracha mayonnaise is:
- Light mayo
- Plain Greek yogurt (nonfat or 2%)
- Sriracha, of course
- Lime juice
- Maple syrup, or another liquid sweetener like honey or agave syrup
What to Serve Sriracha Mayo Sauce With:
This sauce is so versatile! You can serve it whatever you like, but here are some of my favourites:
- As a dip for french fries (sweet potato fries or regular fries)
- With crispy roasted potatoes
- Drizzled on tacos, like chicken or shrimp tacos
- As a topping for fajitas, like these tofu fajitas or sheet-pan shrimp fajitas
- Spread on sandwiches and wraps
Storing the Sauce:
You can keep the sriracha mayo in an airtight container in the fridge up to 1 week.
